If your payment has been declined, then this could be due to one of the following reasons:
- The card on file has expired card
- Incorrect card number
- Insufficient funds
- Payment from GameHouse was blocked by your bank/card issuer
- You're using a pre-paid, debit or gift card
- Your address does not match the card information
Update/adjust your payment information
Ensure you've considered the above possible issues and correct any discrepancies with your card details via My Account/your user name > My Details > Membership > Update Payment Method. If your address appears to be the issue, one solution is to split your address into two lines. The first section can take only 30 characters including spaces.
Pre-paid, debit and gift cards
If you successfully added a pre-paid card, debit card or gift card and now the payment won't process, this is because we can't collect payment from such cards due to the nature of such cards and the fact that payments are run as recurring debits.
Ask your card issuer
If your information appears to be correct, please contact your bank/card issuer to ensure there are no issues from their end (they've blocked the payments, etc). If you're using PayPal, be sure to check there are no issues via your PayPal account also.
